3–4 medium ripe-but-firm bananas
1½ tablespoons pure maple syrup or raw honey
1¼ teaspoons organic ground Ceylon cinnamon
2 teaspoons unrefined coconut sugar or organic turbinado sugar
¼ teaspoon fine sea salt
1 teaspoon arrowroot starch or tapioca flour (optional)
Avocado, grapeseed, or refined coconut oil spray
Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C)
Slice bananas into ¼-inch rounds
Mix maple syrup, cinnamon, sugar, salt, and arrowroot starch in a bowl
Coat banana slices evenly in the mixture
Lightly spray air fryer basket with oil
Arrange banana slices in a single layer
Air fry 13–15 minutes, flipping halfway through
Check for crispiness and golden color
Use bananas that are ripened but not overly soft for optimal crispness
Ceylon cinnamon is preferred for its milder flavor
