A classic American dessert combining fizzy lemon-lime soda, ginger ale, and creamy vanilla ice cream for a sweet and tangy treat. Quick to prepare and endlessly customizable for any occasion.

2 1/2 cups lemon-lime soda (such as 7UP or Sprite), chilled
1 cup ginger ale, chilled
2 tablespoons grenadine syrup
4 scoops vanilla ice cream
Maraschino cherries, for garnish
Lime slices, for garnish

Instructions

In a pitcher, stir together the chilled lemon-lime soda and ginger ale.
Add 2 tablespoons of grenadine syrup and stir gently to combine.
Spoon 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream into two glasses. Divide the soda mixture between the glasses.
Top each float with a lime slice, maraschino cherry, and an additional scoop of ice cream.

Notes
