Parmesan crusted chicken with creamy garlic sauce is a crispy chicken dinner topped with a rich garlic parmesan cream sauce.
4 thin chicken cutlets
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs beaten
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
3 garlic cloves minced
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup grated Parmesan for sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley or thyme for garnish
1. Season chicken cutlets with salt and pepper
2. Dredge chicken in flour then dip in beaten eggs
3. Coat chicken with breadcrumb and parmesan mixture
4. Heat olive oil in skillet and fry chicken until golden about 3 to 4 minutes per side
5. Remove chicken and set aside
6. In same skillet melt butter and sauté garlic
7. Add chicken broth heavy cream and parmesan cheese
8. Simmer until sauce thickens
9. Return chicken to skillet and spoon sauce over
10. Garnish with parsley and serve
Add mushrooms or spinach to sauce for variation
Use almond flour and gluten free breadcrumbs for gluten free version
