Ingredients

4 ounces uncooked pasta
1/2 pound fresh salmon
Salt & pepper to taste
Flour for dredging
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
1/4 cup chicken broth
1 teaspoon lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup heavy/whipping cream
1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
Optional garnish: fresh parsley, parmesan cheese

Instructions

Cook pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions
Prepare salmon: season with salt and pepper, dredge in flour
Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat
Sear salmon for 2-3 minutes per side until golden
Add garlic, chicken broth, and lemon juice; simmer for 1 minute
Stir in heavy cream and dill, reducing to thicken
Toss cooked pasta into the pan with sauce until well coated
Season to taste and garnish with optional parsley and parmesan

Notes

Chicken or shrimp can substitute salmons
dried dill can replace fresh (1 teaspoon dried = 1 tablespoon chopped)
Reduce butter and oil for a lighter version
Chicken broth must be halal-certified
