1 pre-made pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
1 cup fresh ricotta cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons olive oil
1-2 tablespoons hot honey (adjust to taste)
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh basil leaves (optional garnish)
Crushed red pepper flakes (optional garnish)
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C)
Roll out pizza dough into a circle (approx. 12 inch diameter)
Brush dough lightly with olive oil
In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, 1 tsp oregano, 1 tsp garlic powder, salt and pepper
Spread ricotta mixture evenly over the dough
Sprinkle shredded mozzarella over the ricotta
Arrange pizza on a baking sheet or pizza stone and bake for 18-20 minutes until crust is golden
Drizzle hot honey over baked pizza

For best texture, use firm ricotta cheese
