Ingredients

Scale

2 (6-8 ounce) lobster tails, thawed if frozen
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon dried parsley (or 1 tablespoon fresh, finely chopped)
Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C)
Remove lobster meat from shells and butterfly by slicing through shell and opening like a book
Place lobster meat flat on a baking sheet
In a small bowl, mix butter, garlic, lemon juice, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and parsley
Spread garlic butter mixture evenly over lobster meat
Bake for 12-15 minutes, until lobster is opaque and firm
Garnish with lemon wedges before serving

Notes

Always thaw frozen lobster tails in the refrigerator overnight
For a dairy-free version, substitute vegan butter (adjust cooking time slightly)
Adjust garlic quantity to taste
Fresh herbs enhance flavor if available
Avoid overcooking to preserve tender texture
