1 pound Ground Beef
4-6 large Flour Tortillas
1 cup Heavy Cream
1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
2-3 Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce, minced
1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1 teaspoon Onion Powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
Optional: 1/4 cup Beef Broth to adjust sauce consistency
Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat until fully cooked; drain excess fat.
Season the beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
In a small saucepan or the same skillet, whisk together the heavy cream and minced chipotle peppers in adobo sauce over low heat until the sauce thickens slightly.
Assemble the burritos by placing a portion of the beef in the center of each tortilla and rolling it up tightly.
Place the rolled burritos in a baking dish and pour the creamy chipotle sauce over the top.
Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
Bake at 375°F for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbling and golden.
You can substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken if preferred. For extra nutrition, stir in black beans or corn into the beef filling. If the chipotle sauce is too thick, thin it with a tablespoon of beef broth or water.
