1 pound ground beef
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
½ teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon dried oregano
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
½ cup marinara or pizza sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 sheet refrigerated pizza dough (or homemade dough)
1 tablespoon melted butter
½ teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion, bell peppers, and garlic; sauté 5 minutes
Add cooked ground beef and drain excess fat
Stir in Italian seasoning, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper to season beef mixture
Fold in marinara sauce and cheeses (mozzarella, cheddar, Parmesan)
On a floured surface, roll out pizza dough into a rectangle
Divide dough into four equal portions
Place beef mixture in center of each dough circle
Fold dough over filling to form rolls
Flatten seams with fingers, then brush tops with butter and sprinkle with garlic powder and parsley
Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 160°F
Fully cook beef before adding cheese to prevent undercooking
