Ingredients

Scale

1 lb lean ground beef
1/3 cup bread crumbs (gluten-free if needed)
2 teaspoons ketchup (for patty)
1 teaspoon mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
2 cups hot water
1 teaspoon ketchup (for gravy)
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (for gravy)
2 packets Gluten Free Brown Gravy Mix
1–2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

Preheat a large skillet over medium heat and add 1–2 tablespoons vegetable oil.
In a mixing bowl, combine 1 lb ground beef, 1/3 cup bread crumbs, 2 teaspoons ketchup, 1 teaspoon mustard, 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, and 1/2 teaspoon onion powder.
Mix ingredients gently until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
Form the mixture into 4 evenly sized round patties.
Place patties into the heated skillet and cook over medium heat for 3–4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked to your preference.
While the patties cook, prepare the gravy. In a small bowl, mix 2 packets of Gluten Free Brown Gravy Mix with 2 cups hot water. Stir in 1 teaspoon ketchup and 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce.
Pour the gravy into the skillet and swirl to coat. Let simmer for 2–3 minutes, or until thickened.
Serve each patty topped with a generous portion of gravy.
