Easy BBQ Chicken Sliders made with shredded chicken, BBQ sauce, cheese and Hawaiian rolls. Perfect for parties or quick dinners.
12 Hawaiian rolls
2 cups shredded cooked chicken
1/2 cup BBQ sauce
1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced
1 cup shredded cheddar, Monterey jack or pepper jack cheese
2 tablespoons melted butter
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Slice the attached Hawaiian rolls in half and place the bottom halves on the baking sheet.
3. Mix shredded chicken with BBQ sauce in a bowl.
4. Spread BBQ chicken evenly over the rolls.
5. Add sliced red onion and sprinkle shredded cheese.
6. Place top buns on sliders.
7. Brush melted butter over the tops of the rolls.
8. Cover with foil and bake 12 minutes.
9. Remove foil and bake 5 more minutes until cheese melts and buns toast.
10. Cut into individual sliders and serve warm.
Store leftovers in refrigerator up to 2 days.
Reheat in oven at 350°F for 15–20 minutes.
Rotisserie chicken works great for quick preparation.
