Description
Tender oven baked beef ribs with a tangy homemade BBQ sauce. Fall-off-the-bone texture with bold, smoky-sweet flavor—no grill required.
Ingredients
2 racks beef ribs
4 teaspoons kosher salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
2 teaspoons paprika
1 1/2 cups ketchup
1 3/4 cups distilled white vinegar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup honey
1 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 teaspoons sea salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Instructions
1. Pat ribs dry and remove membrane if needed.
2. Mix spices and rub evenly over ribs. Wrap in foil and refrigerate for 1 hour.
3. Preheat oven to 250°F and bake ribs for 2 1/2 hours.
4. If needed, bake an additional 30 minutes until tender.
5. Simmer BBQ sauce ingredients in a pot and adjust seasoning.
6. Unwrap ribs, brush with sauce, and broil 1–3 minutes per side.
7. Slice ribs, glaze with more sauce, and serve.
Notes
Remove membrane for best texture.
Wrap tightly to keep moisture in.
Watch closely during broiling to prevent burning.
Store BBQ sauce in fridge up to 1 month.
