Description

Date bark is a viral sweet treat made with chewy Medjool dates, creamy peanut butter, crunchy peanuts, and melted dark chocolate topped with flaky sea salt. This easy no-bake dessert is naturally sweet, satisfying, and perfect for quick snacks or freezer treats.

Ingredients

300 g pitted Medjool dates about 25

100 g peanut butter

40 g salted peanuts roughly chopped

150 g dark chocolate melted

Flaky sea salt

Instructions

1. Slice the Medjool dates down one side and arrange them tightly together on parchment paper on a baking tray

2. Place another sheet of parchment on top and press the dates into one flat layer using a rolling pin or glass

3. Spread peanut butter evenly across the flattened date layer

4. Sprinkle chopped salted peanuts over the peanut butter

5. Pour melted dark chocolate over the top and spread evenly

6. Sprinkle flaky sea salt over the chocolate

7. Place in the freezer for 30 minutes until set

8. Break into pieces and enjoy

Notes

Use soft Medjool dates for the best texture

Store the bark in the freezer in an airtight container

Allow to soften slightly before eating if desired
